The pathologist will provide comprehensive anatomic and clinical pathology services for an outpatient facility handling 30 complex cases daily. Primary responsibilities include interpreting surgical pathology specimens from approximately 60,000 annual cases and cytopathology specimens from 10,000 annual cases. The position requires performing frozen section evaluations while excluding grossing procedures from clinical duties. The clinician must maintain call coverage during weeknights and weekends to ensure continuous pathology services.
Board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology is essential, along with New Jersey medical licensure or eligibility through IMLC for this locum tenens assignment.
