Sunny Days is currently hiring a Foreign Language Translator Supervisor to cover all of New Jersey.
Job Responsibilities- Conduct bilingual interviews of FLTs in Spanish to assess oral and, where relevant, written proficiency.
- Observe each FLT during an EI session (30‑minute Zoom session, 1×/month).
- Ensure FLT has obtained parental consent before observation.
- Provide an encrypted transcript of the FLT dialogue with parent/caregiver and the completed Observation Checklist; document compliance in Provider Soft.
- Submit a completed Excel spreadsheet with observation dates to the NJ Program Director.
- Complete the observation checklist in no more than 30 minutes and give verbal feedback to the FLT within 15 minutes.
- College degree.
- Certification in interpretation services.
- Experience in early intervention.
- Continuing education/professional development in interpretation services.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Ability to function independently.
- Ability to multitask.
