Responsibilities
- Present course materials during assigned course times for undergraduate or graduate courses such as Food and Health, Field to Table, Food Process Engineering, Current Issues in Food Science and Food Law, Food Product Development, Food Microbiology Lab, Carbohydrates in Foods, Nutragenomics & Nutraceuticals, and others.
- Provide academic support as a non‑teaching co‑adjunct, including holding office hours, administering exams, assigning grades, and coordinating all other instructional requirements.
- Specify the primary course of interest in the application.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a master’s degree (MS) in food science; a PhD is preferred.
- Evidence of past teaching effectiveness and experience is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office applications.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
Compensation
Salary: $2,777 per credit. Final salary may be adjusted based on qualifications, experience, and departmental or grant funds.

Immunization Requirements
Per University Policy 100.3.1, employees starting during Flu Season may be required to provide proof of seasonal influenza vaccination unless a medical or religious exemption has been granted.
