IFNH Co‑Adjunct Non‑Teaching Director NExT – 3/2026 (Part Time)

OverviewDevelop, implement, monitor, and evaluate strength and conditioning and fitness programs for athletes and the general population. Provide leadership and training to graduate student trainers and interns. Administer and interpret physiological and performance testing. Maintain client training and evaluation logs. Responsible for maintenance of Rutgers Protection of Minors Database for the programs, scheduling testings, classes, and fee collection and monitoring.
Responsibilities- Assist with research study implementation and data collection.
- Schedule assessments and interpret data from instruments such as Strength Tests, VO2max, and other tests.
- Supervise student mentors and provide education to peers.
- Oversee development, design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the fitness program.
- Support and enhance the visibility of the training and conditioning program via marketing and outreach initiatives.
Minimum Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Sciences or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience training in one‑on‑one and group settings.
Certifications/Licenses
- First Aid and CPR Certification.
- NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
- Experience with Cosmed Bodpod, Cosmed Metabolic Cart, Parvo metabolic cart.
- Advanced knowledge of sports nutrition (Master’s degree, CISSN, USAW Sport Performance Coach certification preferred).
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to perform Bodpod body composition testing, VO2max testing, strength testing, and resting metabolic rate testing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong data interpretation and reporting skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Cosmed Bodpod, Cosmed Metabolic Cart, Parvo metabolic cart.
- Master’s degree in health‑related field.
Should be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
