Position Overview
Title: Part Time Course Support (Project Mentor) – Summer 2026
Department: Professional Science Masters
Salary: A minimum of $500

- Assisting faculty with evaluating student progress and performance. Provide constructive feedback on their work, presentations, or prototypes. Help assess the achievement of learning objectives and provide suggestions for improvement.
- Monitoring the progress of student projects, ensuring they stay on track and meet established timelines.
- Providing guidance and support to students, collaborating with instructors to ensure students complete their projects successfully.
- Fostering effective communication and collaboration among students and between students and instructors. Facilitating group discussions, encouraging knowledge sharing, and helping resolve conflicts or issues that may arise during the project.
- Assisting in coordinating resources needed for student projects, such as equipment, software, or materials. Collaborating with instructors to ensure students have completed their projects successfully.
- Staying informed about the course content, objectives, and expectations to effectively support students.
Master's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience as a teaching/course assistant.
