Course Developer and Instructor (Part-time)

OverviewCourse developer and instructor responsible for administering, delivering, and developing non‑credit courses in New Jersey government‑related areas. The role focuses on creating engaging and interactive learning experiences for adult learners in government and public service.
Responsibilities- Creates, updates, and revises course content while developing online materials, audio/visual presentations, and interactive learning experiences.
- Delivers engaging instruction to adult learners in government and public service roles and collaborates closely with the Center’s Instructional Designer to design, implement, and enhance courses within the Canvas LMS platform.
- Develops and updates course materials, including multimedia and other online learning tools, providing guidance and feedback to students, and responding to questions and inquiries outside scheduled class times.
- Contributes to course design and technical implementation to ensure effective and high‑quality online learning experiences in related programs.

Hourly rate: $70.00–$95.00 per hour.

Position Details- Part‑time; up to 19.5 hours per week.
- Temporary Staff Appointment – Hourly.
- Multiple locations throughout New Jersey.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Two (2) years relevant experience working in government and/or public sector positions.
- Government or professional certification.
- Instructional experience or successful completion of Train‑the‑Trainer program.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
