RBS - Part Time Instructor (Non-Credit) - 2026

The Rutgers Business School is seeking part‑time instructors to teach non‑credit courses and workshops in a variety of business disciplines. Successful candidates will be responsible for creating engaging learning experiences that connect classroom instruction with industry practice.

• Instruct or co‑instruct non‑credit courses and workshops
• Prepare course materials including syllabi, presentations, readings, and related documents
• Provide constructive feedback and advisement to participants
• Apply innovative educational methodologies and pedagogical techniques
• Generate final reports for program directors

Minimum Education and Experience

Advanced degree and at least one year of instructional or presentational experience, or a combination of education and experience. Doctoral degree preferred; degree requirement may be waived for subject‑matter experts.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Classes and workshops may be delivered in‑person, hybrid, or online. In‑person sessions may be held in Newark, New Brunswick, or one of the off‑site locations.

Base salary: at least $25 per hour. Final offer will consider qualifications, experience, and available funding. Rutgers provides a comprehensive benefits package to eligible employees:
