Summary:
The Department of Physics and Astronomy invites applications for anticipated Lecturer and Coadjutant positions to support undergraduate and graduate instruction in Physics and Astronomy.
Responsibilities: Teaching lectures, leading recitations, conducting laboratory sessions, and providing instructional support across various course formats. Instructional modalities may include in‑person, online, and hybrid formats. This is a pool posting: applications are accepted on a rolling basis and reviewed as instructional needs arise. Qualified candidates will be placed in a departmental pool and considered for affiliate or part‑time teaching assignments for the Fall 2026 semester.
Minimum
Education and Experience:
Ideally an undergraduate degree in Physics or Astronomy. At minimum, the candidate must have successfully completed advanced undergraduate physics and astronomy courses, including Mechanics and Electricity & Magnetism.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Same as Minimum Education and Experience.
