The Graduate School of Education (GSE) at Rutgers University invites applications for Lecturer (formerly PTL) teaching positions in the Department of Educational Psychology for the Summer 2026 Session (May 26, 2026 – August 12, 2026). Positions are part‑time and appointments will be in New Brunswick, New Jersey, with hybrid or online instruction as appropriate.

• Instruct undergraduate or graduate courses in one or more of the following content areas:
  School Counseling and Counseling Psychology;
  College Student Affairs and Higher Education;
  Educational Psychology:
  Learning & Cognition and/or Human Development;
  Gifted Education;
  Special Education;
  Educational Statistics, Measurement, and/or Evaluation.
• Prepare and deliver course materials; submit syllabi; respond to student inquiries; record and submit grades in accordance with contract terms.

• Master’s degree required;
  Doctorate preferred.
• Candidates with other accredited degrees and prior teaching or related work experience will be considered.
• Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities in the subject areas listed above are required.

Salary:
Minimum $2,777.00 per credit.
