Position Overview
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking Instructors for the Center for Advanced Infrastructure and Transportation (CAIT) – Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP). The Instructor will teach in one or more of the following NJ government related areas: NJ Tax Assessment Administration, Educational Facilities Management, Elected Officials, Municipal Financial Management, Housing Authority, Housing Professionals, Municipal Clerks, Professional Development, Public Purchasing, Public Safety, Public Works Management, Planning & Zoning, School Transportation Supervision, NJ Tax Collection and Train-the-Trainer.
The position will be responsible for course administration and content delivery.
- Teach courses in designated government areas.
- Manage course administration.
- Deliver content effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education/experience.
- At least two years of instructional experience or completion of the hiring unit’s Train the Trainer program.
- At least three years of experience in the above referenced government positions.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
