Description

Provide individualized and small-group instruction in mathematics, reading, and writing to adult learners and out-of-school youth. Prepare students to successfully complete the New Jersey State High School Equivalency (HSE) examination and earn a New Jersey State High School Diploma. Provide bilingual instructional support in English and Spanish as needed to support student learning and achievement.

Qualifications

Valid New Jersey Teacher Certificate in any subject area (REQUIRED)
Experience providing High School Equivalency (HSE), formerly GED, preparation and instruction preferred
Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish
Experience working with adult learners and/or out-of-school youth preferred
Strong communication, instructional, and interpersonal skills
