The Department of Food Science in the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is currently seeking Part-time Lecturers or Co-adjutants to teach or Co-adjutants to provide academic support for various undergraduate or graduate courses such as:
Food and Health;
Field to Table;
Food Process Engineering;
Current Issues in Food Science and Food Law;
Food Product Development;
Food Microbiology Lab;
Carbohydrates in Foods;
Nutragenomics & Nutraceuticals, and possibly others during the Spring 2026 semester. The instructors will present course materials during assigned course times and non-teaching co-adjutants will provide academic support. Other duties include holding office hours, administering exams, assigning grades and coordinating any other requirements related to course instruction.
