System Test Engineer
Location: New Jersey
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented System Test Engineer to join our dynamic team in New Jersey. In this role, you will be responsible for verifying system-level radio performance, executing test cases, and troubleshooting issues to ensure high-quality product integration. If you have a strong background in wireless communication technologies and test execution, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute new feature and regression verification on a sprint cadence.
- Support new product integration testing.
- Troubleshoot performance issues and test failures to determine root cause.
- Drive continuous improvements in test processes.
- Provide regular status updates to internal stakeholders.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (minimum) or Master’s degree (preferred) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Experience configuring RAN core network elements and user equipment.
- Proficiency with Linux and Windows operating system configurations.
- Hands-on experience with RF lab equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.
- Strong understanding of wireless technologies (e.g., LTE, 5G-) and industry standards (e.g., 3
GPP). - Experience with network configurations, including DHCP, VLANs, IPv4, and IPv
6. - Familiarity with Atlassian JIRA and Bitbucket.
- Expertise in test execution, results collection, and report generation.
- Experience with Open RAN is a plus.
- Knowledge of XML and RPC interfaces.
- Capable of executing both manual and automated test cases.
- Ability to develop and document test cases and results.
- Strong ability to work with customers and partners professionally.
- Proficiency in scripting or programming, preferably in Python or Shell.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary engineering team.
