Lead Hardware Architect – AI & Machine Learning Infrastructure About the Role
The Lead Hardware Architect – AI & Machine Learning Infrastructure will drive the hardware architecture of next-generation AI compute systems used in large-scale data center deployments. This role emphasizes system-level thinking, architectural decision-making, and cross-functional leadership.
What You’ll Do- Architect hardware platforms optimized for AI training and inference workloads
- Define system requirements and translate them into board-level implementations
- Evaluate and select CPUs, GPUs, memory technologies, and interconnect solutions
- Lead design reviews, validation strategy, and system debug efforts
- Collaborate with thermal, mechanical, firmware, and manufacturing teams to ensure deployable solutions
- Influence long-term hardware roadmaps and platform strategy
- Support high-volume production and field reliability improvements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in hardware or systems architecture
- Strong understanding of AI compute workloads and accelerator-based systems
- Experience with high-speed interfaces and memory technologies
- Ability to drive architectural trade-offs and technical consensus
- Strong leadership and communication skills
