Job Summary
Cloud Network Design Engineer at Johnson & Johnson Services, Inc. – New Brunswick, NJ. Full‑time position with an annual salary of $181,000–$199,000.
Responsibilities- Establish and maintain regular communication with peers, architects, engineering, deployment, operations teams, suppliers, and vendors regarding required network infrastructure changes.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to design and lead next‑generation network solutions (e.g., SDN/NFV, SDWAN, cloud‑enabled remote access, Secure Access Service Edge, NGFW, IAM, etc.).
- Produce documentation, templates, use cases, and acceptance test plans for new network designs.
- Provide training and best‑practice guidance to regional support teams.
- Assist the Automation and Tools Engineering team in developing scripts for automated configuration deployment.
- Develop and execute release‑management plans, including documentation updates, validation testing, and communication of new code releases.
- Conduct knowledge‑transfer sessions with peer organizations and suppliers on changes in procedures, processes, and documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5years of experience in cloud network design or an equivalent role.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
- Experience with SDN, SDWAN, cloud networking, and network security solutions is preferred.
- Telework is available subject to company policies.

- Sick time: 40hours per year (48hours if Colorado, 56hours if Washington).
