• Contribute to the development of fill‑finish and device assembly processes for sterile drug products and drug‑device combination products, supporting clinical introduction and commercial launch.
• Collaborate with Clinical and Commercial Manufacturing to develop robust fill‑finish and device assembly processes from early product development through prototype, scale‑up, clinical, and commercialization phases.
• Participate in design‑for‑manufacturing activities to identify fits/gaps for new products, recommend manufacturing‑process strategy, and support manufacturing site selection.
• Conduct design reviews to ensure design robustness and manufacturability.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing sites, sustaining product and process robustness, improving equipment performance, productivity, and asset utilization, and maintaining ongoing process performance metrics.
• Support product or process improvement and optimization at internal and external sites using Lean and Six‑Sigma methodologies, and support process risk assessment activities to identify critical process parameters and develop control plans.
• Evaluate post‑design‑transfer changes for impact on manufacturing processes, documentation, and design control elements by working with manufacturing sites, R&D, and Quality.

• Minimum of a Bachelor of Science/Engineering in Mechanical, Biomedical, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline. Advanced degree (MS/MEng) preferred.
• Minimum five years of experience in a regulated industry; two or more years with an advanced degree.
• Experience in the medical device, sterile drug products, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology industry, including aseptic processing (filling), device assembly, labeling, molded plastic components, and automated inspection.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 15%.
• Demonstrated application of Lean and Six‑Sigma methodologies to process and product improvement.
• Ability to influence teams outside of direct control and work effectively in a matrix environment, supporting internal and external manufacturers and suppliers.
• Strong technical, analytical, mechanical aptitude, technical writing skills, and effective communication including presentations to suppliers, sites, and senior management.
