Overview

Purpose:

The Med Tech Transformation requires strong financial discipline and execution as we separate DPS and eliminate stranded cost. The Finance Director partners with MT functions, business units, group finance and consulting teams to develop, refine, and monitor plans that deliver financial targets for this multi-year transformation.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the value tracking workstream to capture detailed financial plans for separation and optimization initiatives
  • Monitor value execution (actuals vs. plan) and communicate progress with senior management
  • Link optimization plans to forecast cycles in partnership with group finance, BU, and functional finance teams
  • Manage execution of one-time costs in accordance with separation guidelines and budget
  • Partner with internal employees and third-party consultants on organization design, governance, value tracking, and change management
  • Coordinate across separation and optimization programs to ensure strong execution alignment
  • Manage internal and external resources to support program deliverables
  • Position may rotate to group finance once responsibility is transferred to the base business
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA
  • 12+ years of progressive finance experience (FP&A, controllership, or transformation program finance)
  • Track record leading FP&A/BUF financial work streams in large-scale separations or enterprise cost programs
  • Experience managing third-party consulting engagements and cross-functional program governance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in FP&A, BUF, Corporate or divestiture finance role
  • Experience linking operational plans to financial planning and LRFP cycles
  • Consulting background (Big 4/strategy firm) with enterprise transformation exposure
  • Familiarity with change management frameworks and organizational design principles
