Pay Range: $25.50 per hour

The Mental Health Associate (MHA) will provide emotional support to behavioral patients as well as basic care responsibilities.

• Bachelors Degree in Psychology or related field or 2 Years work experience in field of Mental Health or 2 years patient care experience
• BLS required

• Taking vital signs, EKGs, performing phlebotomy, assisting or providing patients with bedside care (e.g., bathing, mouth care, skin care)
• Provide emotional support to the behavioral patients.
• Assist in carrying out the behavioral plan of care such as diversional activities while keeping the patients safe at the forefront
• Work under the direction of the RN to provide care to the patients on the unit.
