Full-time, non-tenure track Clinical Assistant Professor/Inpatient Psychiatry in Pharmacy Practice & Administration.
Salary: $115,000 (plus benefits).

The Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers invites applications for a faculty position with a clinical appointment at Hackensack Meridian Health Carrier Clinic. The School is a nationally recognized pharmacy program that emphasizes teaching, practice, scholarship, and service. The Clinic specializes in inpatient psychiatric treatment and rehabilitation for substance abuse across a wide age range and provides a comprehensive, compassionate environment in a 100+ acre setting.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with pharmacists, nurses, and medical staff to optimize inpatient pharmacotherapy and participate in multidisciplinary rounds.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives such as reducing readmissions, enhancing medication access, and policy development.
- Provide interprofessional education, precepting, and medication use evaluations.
- Perform dosing consults, support Medication Assistance Treatment initiatives, and follow hospital billing procedures for services.
- Conduct research, medication use evaluations, and community outreach support.
Minimum Requirements: Doctor of Pharmacy degree, at least two years PGY‑2 residency in psychiatry/behavioral health or equivalent experience.
Eligibility for licensure as a pharmacist in the State of New Jersey is required.
Board certification in Pharmacotherapy (BCPS) or other relevant board certification is preferred within two years of hire.
