Posting SummaryRutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Visiting Researcher within Cancer Pharmacology at the Rutgers Cancer Institute.
Under the direction of the Principal Investigator, the Visiting Researcher will support the senior lab staff with conducting research experiments in the area of Cancer Pharmacology. Within the Herranz Lab, the Visiting Researcher will conduct research on the dissection of the interplay between metabolism and epigenetics in T-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (T-ALL) and additional leukemias using mouse models. The Visiting Researcher will draft written reports for inclusion in manuscripts and grant proposals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Conduct multidisciplinary research on the dissection of the interplay between metabolism and epigenetics in T-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (T-ALL) and additional leukemias using mouse models, under the supervision of the Principal Investigator.
- Prepare written reports of the research experiments.
- Prepare grant proposals based on the research conducted.
- Give oral presentations of the research.
- Understand and adhere to Rutgers’ compliance standards as they appear in RBHS’s Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy. Understand, demonstrate and model the Rutgers Cancer Institute core values.
- Keep abreast of all pertinent federal, state and Rutgers’s compliance standards as they appear in RBHS’s Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Interest policy.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
