Role OverviewIT Infrastructure Service Specialist, based in Somerset, NJ, responsible for delivering onsite technical support and ensuring the reliability and efficiency of IT systems across the location. The role includes maintaining hardware and software, resolving user issues, and contributing to the overall quality and performance of the company’s IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Provide IT support for users at assigned sites.
- Image, install, configure, and maintain PCs, peripherals, and mobile devices.
- Follow up on client questions and problems (hardware and software) until resolved.
- Document issues and resolutions, produce reports when required.
- Provide administrative support for IT systems, including user role and access permissions.
- Improve and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to testing and system quality compliance.
- Follow corporate policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Interact with business users, IT staff, and external service providers.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of onsite IT support experience, preferably in pharmaceutical or life‑science industries.
- Good knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, and iOS.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems based on guidelines and experience.
- Strong quality and customer‑service mindset.
- Ability and willingness to learn new technologies and skills.
- Knowledge of system and network administration; cloud‑based applications is a plus.
- Experience with Office 365, Excel macro, Linux and/or Windows Shell scripting is a plus.
