Sr. Specialist, Analytics Operation

Job Summary

Ensure the reliable operations of data assets to stakeholders, providing high-quality, reliable, and accessible data for consumers such as analysts and data scientists in a rapid and continuous fashion.

• Ensure analytics assets (data pipelines and data models) are reliably and efficiently deployed and maintained in production.
• Monitor and troubleshoot: set up monitoring dashboards and alerts to track pipeline performance and health; troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
• Enhance performance and optimization: continuously optimize pipeline performance, efficiency, and resource usage to manage costs and improve scalability.
• Implement CI/CD for data: apply continuous integration and continuous deployment practices to data pipelines to rapidly and reliably deploy new data models and features.
• Improve team processes/structures/knowledge: analyze current states, deliver recommendations to understand environmental complexity, and execute complex solutions to completion.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in data engineering, full stack development, or cloud engineering.
• Experience in data engineering, Dev Ops, or Data Ops preferred.
• Ability to work independently and directly manage a cross‑functional team including results/outcomes.
• Strong programming and scripting skills, particularly in Python and SQL.
• Cloud experience (AWS preferred), including AWS data services such as S3, Glue, and Lambda (plus).
• Proficiency with Git.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Git Lab CI/CD.
