DevSecOps Engineer

Our client is seeking a Dev Sec Ops  Engineer to help design, secure, and optimize their cloud infrastructure, primarily within Azure environments. This role will focus on integrating security best practices into the development lifecycle while ensuring performance, scalability, and cost efficiency. This is a hybrid position based in Middlesex County, NJ.

Starting at $130,000/year.

Dev Sec Ops  Engineer's Responsibilities and Duties:

• Design, implement, and manage secure Azure cloud environments, including service management, performance monitoring, and cost optimization
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with a strong focus on security and automation
• Manage and optimize containerized environments using Kubernetes and Docker
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to embed security best practices across all stages of the SDLC
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability

Dev Sec Ops  Engineer's Qualifications and Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including security, performance, and cost management
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, networking, and cloud security principles
• Solid understanding of SQL and database management
• Proficiency in creating technical documentation and diagrams
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences
