This is a high‑visibility role. You’ll serve as the trusted technical authority for a major HR transformation program, working directly with HR, IT, security, and executive stakeholders — and leaving behind a platform that’s scalable, secure, and built to last.
What You’ll Do- Lead end‑to‑end architecture, design, and implementation of Service Now HRSD solutions across discovery, build, testing, deployment, and hypercare

- Define data models, workflows, security frameworks, and integration patterns aligned to Service Now best practices

- Review configurations, customizations, scripting, workflows, and business rules to ensure quality and standards adherence
- Act as a trusted advisor to HR, IT, and senior business stakeholders throughout the engagement
- Architect integrations between Service Now and enterprise systems — HRIS, Active Directory, SAP, payroll platforms — using REST/SOAP APIs and integration frameworks
- Ensure secure, reliable data exchange across the enterprise ecosystem
- Lead migration of HR records, documents, and knowledge assets from SharePoint and legacy repositories into Service Now
- Define governance standards, PII controls, retention policies, and compliance requirements across the migration lifecycle
- Ensure data integrity, traceability, and auditability of all migrated content
- Identify opportunities to optimize workflows, integrations, and platform adoption
- Lead upgrades, enhancements, and roadmap planning initiatives
- 10–15 years of overall IT experience; 5+ years focused on Service Now solution architecture
- Proven track record leading enterprise‑scale HRSD implementations and transformation programs
- Deep platform knowledge: architecture, HRSD modules, scripting, customization, workflows, and governance
- Strong integration experience: REST/SOAP APIs, HRIS/ERP data flows, security standards
- Experience migrating content from SharePoint and legacy systems into Service Now
- Solid understanding of PII handling, data governance, and compliance practices
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills — you can hold the room with an engineer and with a CHRO
- Service Now CSA and CIS‑HRSD certifications required
- CIS‑ITSM, CAD, CTA, or additional Service Now certifications
- Exposure to Legal Service Delivery (LSD) and/or Source‑to‑Pay (S2P)
- Experience advising senior leadership on platform strategy and roadmap planning
- Background leading geographically distributed teams
- Location: Hybrid — Client site in New Brunswick, NJ
- Type: Contract
- Experience: 10–15 years overall | 5+ years Service Now Architecture
- Primary Module: HRSD | Additional exposure to ITSM, LSD, S2P valued
- Required Certification: CIS‑HRSD
- Compensation: Competitive, commensurate with experience
