Senior Manager, Development to Launch Analytics

Position Summary

Lead Development to Launch Analytics within PDS Analytics (BI & T), partnering with PDS leaders to answer business questions and drive strategy using machine learning, statistical, and quantitative models.

• Support business decisions: identify and address priority questions for CMC development, new product introduction, and business operations; run hypothesis testing and present findings.
• Drive analytics and capabilities: build core AI/ML models, ETL processes, and statistical methods; operationalize, interpret, and maintain models using Dev Ops and business reporting.
• Drive productivity/operational excellence: enforce coding best practices and enterprise standards; create documentation; perform walkthroughs and peer reviews.
• Lead/manage multiple projects end-to-end; define analytics standards and escalation processes.

• Bachelor’s in a quantitative field; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years applied machine learning/statistics/time-series or quantitative forecasting.
• 5+ years SQL, Python and/or R in production environments.
• Data architecture/database concepts; probabilistic methods (Monte Carlo, probability theory, Bayesian).
• Version control in production-grade code development (plus).
• Life sciences/pharma experience strongly preferred.
• Strong project management, critical thinking, communication; ability to lead/prioritize; work with diverse matrix teams.
