We are seeking a Technical Product Owner (Manager) – Enterprise Ledger based in New Brunswick, NJ, United States to work at the intersection of business and technology. This role defines strategies that combine a deep understanding of business objectives and challenges with technology solutions, translates them into development execution, value realization, and ongoing product management. You will help set the strategic direction for finance technology products supporting SAP S/4

HANA Finance (Finance and Controlling) as part of a broader transformation agenda. You will lead a team of external technology professionals and will be responsible for the SAP S4/Central Finance A2R (Account‑to‑Report) organization supporting Johnson & Johnson’s SAP S/4

HANA Finance projects, enhancements and support.

• Business Problem Definition: translate business requirements of the finance Account to Report function into a value case and comprehensive set of solutions covering process, technology, data, governance and user experience.
• External Insights: understand external trends related to finance processes and technology and provide foresight to inform strategies.
• Solution Design: ensure product development incorporates experimentation, human‑centered design, agile principles and compliance engagement.
• Value Realization: define expected value impact of investments across employee experience, functional excellence, efficiency, and compliance.
• Architecture: partner with the finance architecture team to define each system’s role within the landscape aligned with business capabilities while adhering to standards.
• Internal Partnerships: act as the primary trusted advisor to senior finance & technology leaders across the product development lifecycle.
• Product Management: partner with product management teams to align roadmaps with strategy, value creation objectives and measurable KPIs.
• External Partnerships: manage vendor relationships to influence development roadmaps and ensure partner needs are met.
• Team Leadership: lead a global team of finance technology professionals and manage a capacity team for product enhancements and deployment initiatives.
• Leads Design and Delivery of SAP Finance (Account to Report) solutions and support.
• Review user stories, specifications and coordinate required development activities.
• Assess technical feasibility of proposed solutions and provide recommendations.
• Capture customer insights and deliver continuous improvement recommendations.
• Plan, select, and schedule approved vendors and oversee vendor resources throughout the project.
• Apply compliance requirements and participate in compliance activities.

• 7+ years of experience managing technical and/or finance teams with strong leadership and communication skills.
• 5+ years of functional experience with SAP ECC6 FI/CO, SAP S/4
  
  HANA Finance, and/or SAP Central Finance.
