Senior Manager: Systems

Position Summary

Senior Manager, Knowledge Systems – responsible for implementing and managing the Analytics Assets Life Cycle (AALC) within the Product Development and Supply (PDS) Analytics & AI Enablement (A&AIE) team. The role supports drug development from discovery through commercialization by ensuring reliable, scalable, and high‑performance analytics assets for PDS stakeholders.

• Deploy and maintain analytics assets (data models, ML, AI, and DI) in production.
• Build and manage continuous integration pipelines for testing, validation, and deployment of analytics assets.
• Implement automated monitoring and alerting to detect and resolve disruptions or anomalies in analytics assets.
• Collaborate with data engineers and scientists to understand model requirements and ensure seamless integration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex deployment, performance, and scalability issues.
• Develop governance policies for data management, model development, and analytics deployment, and scale best practices across the organization.
• Ensure robust security measures protect data assets.
• Lead process improvements and deliver recommendations for current state analysis and solution execution.
• Stay current with MLOps and machine learning technology trends.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience deploying and managing models in production environments.
• Experience leading continuous improvement or MLOps initiatives.
• Strong understanding of machine learning principles and model lifecycle management.
• Proficient programming skills in Python, PySpark, SQL, Bash/Power Shell.
• Extensive experience with Tensor Flow, PyTorch, scikit-learn.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS preferred, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Lab CI, CircleCI) and version control (Git).
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Cloud Watch, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting complex information clearly across all levels.
• Demonstrated analytical thinking using diverse data sources and understanding broader implications.

• Competitive salary range (e.g.,  148,480 –  179,920 in Devens, MA;  134,980 –  163,564 in New Brunswick, NJ).
