Pay Rate$70.00 - 74.20/hr on W2
SummaryWe are seeking a thoughtful and driven UX specialist to join our team and help shape the future of our digital solutions. This role blends experience strategy, hands‑on user research, and workflow analysis, with practical design execution. You’ll work closely with product owners, scientists, IT, and other cross‑functional partners to identify requirements and translate user and business needs into intuitive, scalable designs.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and lead user research activities, including user interviews, stakeholder interviews, workflow walk‑throughs, and usability testing
- Synthesize research findings into clear insights and actionable recommendations, and present them to cross‑functional stakeholders
- Map complex workflows and translate user needs into clear requirements, concepts, and UX strategies
- Contribute to interaction design and UI design efforts, creating low‑to‑high‑fidelity designs in Figma as appropriate for the project stage
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Data, and Product partners to ensure designs are feasible, scalable, and aligned with technical constraints
- Support projects end‑to‑end, often acting as the sole UX resource on individual initiatives
- Experience in UX research, UX design, service design, or a related field
- Strong workflow mapping, systems thinking, and requirements‑gathering skills
- Experience with AI-enabled tools, data/analytics platforms, or modeling/automation workflows is highly desirable
- Experience with user research methods to iterate and validate designs
- Experience collaborating closely with cross‑functional team members and stakeholders;
Ability to work independently and manage ambiguous problem spaces - Proficiency with Figma
- A portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design thinking, interaction design, shipped work simplifying domain complexity into intuitive user experiences or similar
Required bachelor's degree in any related field.
