Sr. Manager, Global Process Owner

The Senior Manager, Global Process Owner leads the global procurement process ownership for DePuy Synthes, driving the adoption of scalable, compliant, and insight‑driven procurement operations. The role partners closely with procurement, IT, finance, legal, and commercial stakeholders to define, deploy, and continuously improve end‑to‑end procurement processes and technology platform capabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as a senior leader supporting Global Process Ownership (GPO) for procurement processes, including governance, standardization, and continuous improvement.
- Own and execute the systems and enablement roadmap for procurement, including platforms supporting sourcing, contracting, pricing, analytics, and adjacent capabilities.
- Lead cross‑functional efforts to translate business and regulatory requirements into scalable process and system solutions.
- Drive global deployment, optimization, and adoption of procurement systems, balancing global standards with regional needs.
- Establish and monitor process and system performance metrics, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and value delivery.
- Partner with Global Operations and IT to support process transformation initiatives, automation, and digital enablement.
- Lead change management, training, and communication strategies to maximize user adoption and operational effectiveness.
- Manage relationships with external technology vendors and implementation partners, including delivery, performance, and cost management.
- Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field).
- MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
- 8–10 years of progressive experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Commercial Operations, or Systems Enablement within a complex or regulated enterprise environment.
- Demonstrated experience supporting or leading global procurement processes, systems, or operating model initiatives.
- Strong working knowledge of procurement technologies (e.g., ERP, sourcing, CLM, pricing, analytics platforms).
- Proven ability to lead cross‑functional, global initiatives and influence senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and execution skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to operate effectively in a matrixed global organization.
- Experience supporting Global Process Owner (GPO) models or procurement transformation programs.
- Background in Med Tech, healthcare, or other regulated industries.
- Experience with process automation, digital transformation, or advanced analytics initiatives.
- Familiarity with change management methodologies and large‑scale system deployments.
- Experience managing external vendors or system implementation partners.
- Languages:
English required; additional languages a plus. - Travel:
Up to 20%, domestic and international. - Certifications:
Project management, procurement, or systems certifications (e.g., PMP, CPSM, Agile, ITIL) preferred.

Benefits- Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
