Position Summary

The PDS (Product Development and Supply) Analytics team within BMS Business Insights & Technology partners with the PDS organization to answer key business questions and drive strategy using advanced data science and analytics. The Senior Manager, Development to Launch Analytics leads the creation of advanced analytic tools and machine learning models that guide decisions across drug development and product launch activities, driving enterprise impact from product development to manufacturing and clinical supply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support senior leaders in identifying and prioritizing business questions related to CMC development, new product introduction, and operations. Develop hypotheses, conduct analysis, and present findings.
  • Build and own machine learning, statistical, and quantitative models. Operationalize and maintain these models using Dev Ops practices and business reporting.
  • Drive adoption of coding best practices and data analysis methodologies across the team. Lead code standards and documentation efforts.
  • Design, develop, and implement scalable data analysis applications that solve complex problems efficiently.
  • Lead projects from charter to completion, establishing standards for analytics provision and escalation processes.
  • Identify opportunities to further leverage data and analytical tools across the portfolio.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business analytics, data science, engineering, finance, or related quantitative field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of applied machine learning or statistical modeling experience.
  • 5+ years of SQL, Python, and/or R experience in production environments.
  • Experience in data architecture, database concepts, and probabilistic methods.
  • Experience in the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry strongly preferred.
  • Strong project management and critical‑thinking skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in a matrixed organization.
  • Ability to lead small teams and manage multiple deliverables.
  • Experience with version control and production‑grade code deployment.
Compensation Overview

Devens – MA – US: $147,080 – $178,221
New Brunswick – NJ – US: $133,710 – $162,019
Seattle – WA: $147,080 – $178,221

Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities may apply based on eligibility.
