Position Summary
Search for a Data Product Lead / IT Lead – Technical Product Owner, Data Enablement (individual contributor) responsible for building, operating, and continuously improving core data platform and data quality capabilities used across Corporate Business Technology (CBT).
Key Responsibilities Data Platform Enablement- Support technical ownership and day-to-day operation of enterprise data platforms (including Databricks Intelligence Platform).
- Implement and maintain platform standards, reusable components for ingestion, transformation, and consumption.
- Support medallion (Bronze/Silver/Gold) patterns (schema design, performance, data lifecycle).
- Partner with infrastructure/platform teams to ensure stable, secure, production-ready environments.
- Implement and support enterprise data quality tools/frameworks.
- Design/apply data quality checks (validation, completeness, freshness, reconciliation).
- Translate quality requirements with data owners/governance partners.
- Build/support batch and streaming pipelines aligned to platform/quality standards.
- Enable near-real-time/event-driven patterns where appropriate.
- Include monitoring, failure handling, and data validation.
- Support reliability, monitoring, incident response; contribute to dashboards/alerts/runbooks.
- Apply cost-aware patterns for compute, storage, and data movement.
- Address performance, stability, and data issues.
- Follow version control, CI/CD, testing, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Ensure security, privacy, and access control compliance; support logging/metadata/lineage for auditability.
- Deliver platform improvements with engineers/platform managers/product partners; share patterns/documentation; improve usability, reliability, and developer experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering/Information Systems or related.
- 5–7+ years in data engineering/analytics platforms/data infrastructure.
- 3+ years hands-on with modern data platforms/Lakehouse (e.g., Databricks).
- Production experience implementing ingestion/transformation/validation.
- Knowledge of data quality concepts/tools (validation, monitoring).
- Working knowledge of CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, secure engineering; strong communication and cross-team collaboration.
- Experience operating/supporting enterprise data quality platforms.
- Exposure to data catalog/metadata/lineage tools.
- Legacy ETL/warehouse modernization/migration experience.
- Familiarity with Python, SQL, Spark, automation/orchestration scripting.
- Cloud experience (Azure and/or AWS).
