We are seeking an experienced Litigation Supervisor to lead and manage a team of legal professionals handling litigation matters in the state of New Jersey. This role is ideal for a highly organized, proactive legal professional with a strong background in litigation management, court procedures, and team development.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise a team of litigation attorneys, legal assistants, and/or paralegals
- Review and oversee the progress of litigation cases to ensure compliance with deadlines, court requirements, and internal processes
- Provide guidance on complex legal matters and elevate issues as appropriate
- Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies for improving productivity and case outcomes
- Coordinate with clients, courts, and internal departments to support litigation operations
- Train and mentor team members on best practices and legal updates
- Assist in managing case assignments and attorney workloads
- Ensure compliance with state‑specific regulations and legal ethics
- Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or team lead capacity
- Strong knowledge of New Jersey court systems and civil litigation processes
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Experience with case management systems and legal software tools
