The Supply Chain Planning Manager leads end-to-end planning activities to ensure consistent product availability, balanced inventory levels, and efficient operations. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to align demand forecasts, production schedules, and material readiness in a regulated manufacturing environment. The position plays a critical role in supporting growth, improving supply reliability, and driving data-based decisions.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Oversee demand planning, production scheduling, and material planning to align customer needs with manufacturing and supply capabilities.
- Develop, maintain, and govern the master production schedule in collaboration with planning stakeholders.
- Partner cross-functionally with procurement, operations, quality, and commercial teams to support execution and service level performance.
- Maintain compliant planning practices supporting quality, food safety, lot control, shelf-life management, and inventory rotation.
- Manage planning-related master data within ERP systems, ensuring accuracy of bills of materials, routings, and lead times.
- Establish inventory strategies that balance availability, working capital efficiency, and waste reduction.
- Support new product introductions and commercialization efforts by coordinating planning inputs and readiness.
- Contribute to sales and operations planning activities by identifying risks, constraints, and scenario-based solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on planning effectiveness, system optimization, and KPI performance.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and development support to planning team members.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations, business, or a related discipline.
- Five or more years of experience in supply chain or production planning within a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Prior leadership or team oversight experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of GMP, food safety, or regulatory planning requirements.
- Hands‑on experience with ERP or MRP systems; demand planning tool exposure is a plus.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Ability to communicate effectively across functions and levels.
