Compo under (Terps)
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Compo under for the 2nd shift, Monday through Friday. The successful candidate will be responsible for retrieving and accurately measuring ingredients, mixing various components, and identifying and melting solids using hot plates. The role requires maintaining high-quality standards, conducting in-process batch inspections, and documenting all process events while following established procedures and policies.
Responsibilities- Accurately measure and retrieve ingredients using scales.
- Mix various ingredients and identify solids requiring melting using hot plates.
- Identify ingredients that require dilution, dilute them appropriately, and record raw materials usage.
- Maintain quality standards by verifying the weight and contents of raw materials.
- Conduct in-process batch inspections and document all process events.
- Process liquids, powders, and use homogenizing and spray dry methods of compounding.
- Follow standard batch instructions to weigh dyes and other substances accurately.
- Check for consistency in various batches and measure the viscosity of mixtures.
- Take samples of batches and submit them to a laboratory for testing.
- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure accurate documentation of completed work.
- 6 months to 1 year of compounding experience in powder/raw materials.
- Experience in a GMP environment.
- Proficiency in chemical mixing, compounding, and batch making.
- Knowledge of production, chemical manufacturing, and batching processes.
- Ability to handle raw materials and perform blending tasks.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience handling raw materials and blending.
This role operates within a team and cross-functional environment. The working hours are from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM on the 2nd shift. A uniform and proper personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times.
Job Type & LocationThis is a permanent position based out of New Brunswick, NJ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $57200.00 - $57200.00/yr. 401k medical dental vision.
Workplace TypeThis is a fully onsite position in New Brunswick, NJ.
