• ASN or Nursing Diploma
• At least 1 year of Registered Nurse experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficient computer skills
• BSN or must be completed within 5 years upon hire (preferred)
• Previous experience as Operating Room RN is highly preferred (preferred)
• Certifications and Licenses
  
  Required:
  
  BLS and ACLS certification
• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License

• Day Shift
• 2 weekend shifts per month, plus one summer and one winter holiday
• Per Diem

• The Registered Nurse provides nursing care in the health care system within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards and ensures awareness of ethical standards of practice as defined by the ANA code of ethics.
• The Registered Nurse ensures safety in practice and uses evidence-based practice; communicates with and utilizes resource persons and programs to advance knowledge of self and others of the patient care team.
• The Registered Nurse reports identified safety issues such as hazardous environments and medical errors.
• The Registered Nurse has knowledge of the patient population served.
• The Registered Nurse supervises and directs the delegation of tasks to appropriate team members and collaborates with other patient care providers.
• The Registered Nurse sets and evaluates priorities through appropriate interventions with measurable outcomes toward improvement.
• The Registered Nurse is an individual practitioner and the interdisciplinary team manager, uses the nursing process to integrate all aspects of care and individualizes the plan of care to address patient needs.
