Assistant Director of Patient Care, Coronary Care Unit

Position:
Assistant Director of Patient Care – Night shift, full-time in the Coronary Care Unit at RWJ New Brunswick, New Jersey.

Pay Range: $ - $ per year.

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Assistant Director of Patient Care for our Coronary Care Unit Department at the New Brunswick campus.

• BSN required
• At least 3 years of Critical Care Nursing experience

• MSN highly preferred
• Previous leadership experience preferred

• BLS and ACLS certification
• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License

• Night Shift, 40 hours per week
• Full-Time
• On Call Leadership Coverage

• Provides leadership and direction in order to fulfill the goals and objectives of the unit/organization.
• Effectively communicates information to staff, utilizes resources and manages staff and services.
• Assists the Director with the daily operations of the unit and delegated responsibilities.
• Will be assigned 50 percent of patient care responsibilities.
• Collaboratively prepares and maintains staff schedule and payroll.
• Effectively collaborates with interdisciplinary teams and drives staff accountability.
