Compensation

Hourly wage range: $47.85 - $71.72 per hour. The compensation offered depends on the candidate’s educational background, skills, and professional experience.

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Registered Nurse for our Coronary Care Unit at the New Brunswick campus.

Required:

• ASN or Nursing Diploma
• RN experience in Critical Care required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficient computer skills

Preferred:

• BSN or must be completed within 5 years upon hire
• CCRN preferred

• BLS and ACLS certification
• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License

• Night Shift, 7:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.
• 2 shifts per month, plus one summer and one winter holiday
• Per Diem

• The Registered Nurse provides nursing care within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards, and ensures adherence to ethical standards of practice as defined by the ANA code of ethics.
• The Registered Nurse promotes safety and evidence‑based practice, continuously expanding personal knowledge and supporting the patient care team through communication and the use of available resources.
• The Registered Nurse reports identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (e.g., damaged floors, walls, ceiling tiles, unsecured areas) and medical errors.
• The Registered Nurse demonstrates knowledge of the patient population served.
• The Registered Nurse supervises and directs task delegation to appropriate team members and collaborates with other patient care providers.
• The Registered Nurse consistently sets and evaluates priorities through appropriate interventions with measurable outcomes toward improvement.
• The Registered Nurse functions as an individual practitioner and interdisciplinary team manager, utilizing the nursing process to integrate all aspects of care and individualizing the plan of care for each patient.
