Pay Range: $47.85 - $71.72 per hour

Job Title: RN

Facility: Morris Cancer Center (New Brunswick campus)

This is a 32‑bed Oncology Unit. All 32 beds are private rooms. The patient population includes medical oncology, surgical oncology, other blood disorders and intermediate care patients.

Required Qualifications
  • BSN
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proficient computer skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 1-3 years of Oncology RN experience
  • Oncology or BMTU certification preferred
Certifications and Licenses Required
  • BLS and ACLS certification
  • Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License
Scheduling Requirements
  • Night Shift, 36 hours per week, 7p-7:30a
  • Monday – Friday, with some weekend and holiday rotation
  • Part‑time
Essential Functions
  • Provide nursing care within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards, ensuring awareness of ethical standards of practice as defined by the ANA code of ethics.
  • Assure safety in practice and integrate evidence‑based practice, maintaining continuous learning and knowledge advancement.
  • Report identified safety issues such as hazardous environments and medical errors.
  • Maintain knowledge of the patient population served.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to appropriate team members, collaborating with other patient care providers.
  • Consistently set and evaluate priorities through appropriate interventions with measurable outcomes toward improvement.
  • Act as an individual practitioner and interdisciplinary team manager, utilizing the nursing process to individualize the plan of care for each patient.
