Position Title

Licensed Practical Nurse PT Nights UCHC SWSP

Part-time Licensed Practical Nurse position for Southwoods State Prison in Bridgeton, NJ. The role involves direct patient care, administering treatments and procedures, collecting data, and maintaining a safe therapeutic environment under RN supervision.

• Participate in data collection related to patient status and needs.
• Provide information to the Registered Nurse for incorporation into the plan of care.
• Provide direct patient care within scope of practice to ensure implementation of the plan.
• Inform and instruct patients or significant others on health status and plan of care.
• Assist patient or significant other in preparation for discharge and health maintenance in home.
• Document all aspects of patient care.

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program.
• Valid registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of New Jersey.
• CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license and own vehicle or alternative transportation.
• Minimum 6 months of experience in an acute hospital setting (preferred).

Ability to perform CPR for at least 10 minutes and lift or rotate patients up to 50 pounds.

Minimum: $32,520 | Mid: $33,020 | Max: $34,010 per year (hourly rate not specified).

Part time, 20 hours per week, mostly night shifts, full onsite.
