Registered Nurse (RN), Cardiac Rehab – East Brunswick

Location:

RWJ New Brunswick, One Robert Wood Johnson Place, New Brunswick, NJ 08901

Shift: Day (40 hours per week, Monday – Friday with occasional weekend and holiday rotation)

Pay Range: $47.85 – $71.72 per hour (New Jersey)

• Provide nursing care within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards.
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to evidence‑based practice, including reporting safety issues such as hazardous environments and medical errors.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to team members while collaborating with other patient‑care providers.
• Set and evaluate priorities, develop care plans, and implement interventions with measurable outcomes for continuous improvement.
• Utilize the nursing process to integrate all aspects of care and individualize plans for each patient’s needs.

Required:

• ASN or Nursing Diploma
• At least two years of cardiac rehabilitation or related cardiac monitoring experience
• Fluency in telemetry monitoring and EKG interpretation preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficient computer skills

Preferred:

• BSN or completion within five years upon hire
• 2–3 years of Cardiac RN experience

• BLS and ACLS certification
• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License

• Day Shift, 40 hours per week
