Travel Nurse Source  is working with Prime Staffing to find a qualified Pediatrics RN in New Brunswick, New Jersey, 08901!

Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Description:

Registered Nurse / Pediatric Float...What are the patient ratios? 1:5 How many years of experience are required? 1.5 years...Are First time travelers accepted? Yes What is the weekend policy? Every other weekend...Which certifications are required? ACLS, BLS, and PALS are required. APHON is preferred Will this traveler float? Yes, this is a float pool between Ped Heme/Onc (NO CHEMO/infusions), pediatrics, adolescents, newborn nursery and SCN.

Will take Med/Surg assignments in all areas of BMSCH including PICU/NICU and Peds ED Is block scheduling approved? No Are locals accepted? Yes What is the time off policy? Any time off MUST be sent with the submittal and approved before the offer...Additional equipment special requirements:

Requested Time Off : A screenshot of the candidate confirming their RTO schedule requests is required upon submission. These submissions will be prioritized. Requests with less than 7 days of RTO , and no Holiday time off , will be prioritized. RTO requested after an offer will NOT be accommodated. Clinicians are expected to adhere to the agreed-upon schedule and should NOT request changes once onsite.

Must be available to work 2 of 3 Holidays (unless otherwise specified in job description) Block/Special Scheduling :
Schedule requests cannot be accommodated unless approved at time of booking. Contract at RWJ is expected to be travelers primary work schedule. If traveler is working elsewhere, RWJ is NOT required to accommodate unless approved prior to offer. Return Staff Policy : RWJBH staff (full time or PRN) must be gone from the RWJBH health system a minimum of 1 year before they are eligible to return for travel assignments.

Floating Requirements/Ratios:
Candidates are required to float within their skillset, no exceptions. Ratios vary based on census and staffing. When floated, RNs will be assigned a patient ratio based on patient acuity License/

Certifications:
