- Be responsible for Nursing Quality Improvements activities on the unit.
- Assist the Nurse Manager in planning for and implementing mechanisms to encourage growth and development of staff.
- Report any significant changes in the condition of the unit, any incidents and/or personnel problems.
- Participate in unit-based research.
- Function as staff as needed to maintain patient safety and quality.
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of progressive leadership in an acute care setting
- High level of interpersonal skills to resolve complex problems requiring innovative solutions and the ability to negotiate in sensitive situations
- BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association
- ECG course completed during clinical orientation
- PALS certification required or obtained during clinical orientation
- ACLS certification required or obtained during clinical orientation
- Critical Care course completed during clinical orientation
- National certification or nursing administrative certification within one year in specialty specific to care provided
Monday through Friday 8am to 4:30pm

We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.
The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
