Registered Nurse – Oncology

New Brunswick, NJ

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30) | Onsite

• Provide direct patient care for oncology patients including those with hematological malignancies, solid oncology diagnoses, bone marrow transplant, and CAR-T therapy
• Administer chemotherapy and manage related patient monitoring and documentation
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4, with ratios subject to variation based on census and patient acuity
• Float within scope of skillset across campus units as needed
• Document all patient care activities accurately using the EPIC charting system
• Work every other weekend as part of the standard schedule

• Minimum of 2 years of oncology nursing experience
• Active New Jersey RN license or valid Compact license required at time of submission
• Current ACLS, BLS, and Chemotherapy (CHEMO) certifications required at time of submission
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
• Ability to work 2 of 3 designated holidays per contract term
• Must be available to adhere to the agreed-upon schedule without modifications once onsite

• Experience with bone marrow transplant and/or CAR-T therapy patient populations
• Prior travel nursing experience welcomed; first-time travelers are accepted
• Familiarity with chemotherapy administration protocols and safety standards

• Work within a specialized oncology unit treating a diverse and complex patient population in a well-established healthcare environment
