Registered Nurse – Operating Room

$2692.80/week –

Job Summary:

Seeking experienced Operating Room Registered Nurses to join a Level 1 Trauma Center. Candidates will provide surgical care across diverse specialties, including trauma, neuro, ortho, and robotics, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures.
• Prepare operating rooms, ensuring sterile environments and necessary equipment readiness.
• Assist in complex surgeries such as trauma, spine, craniotomy, robotic, bariatric, GYN, and oncologic cases.
• Monitor patient vital signs, anesthesia administration, and intraoperative safety measures.
• Document all perioperative activities accurately in EPIC charting system.
• Collaborate with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and support staff to optimize patient care.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active NJ or Compact RN license at the time of submission.
• Possess 3+ years of OR nursing experience, with trauma and high-acuity skills preferred.
• Certified in BLS; CNOR certification preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency in complex surgical procedures, including robotic and laparoscopic cases.
• Capable of float coverage within skillset adhering to staffing ratios.
• Be willing to work night shifts (3×12 hours) and participate in on-call requirements.
