The Registered Nurse (RN) role is based in the Endoscopy Department at a hospital campus.
Responsibilities include providing comprehensive nursing care within the scope of practice, ensuring patient safety, supervising team members, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.
The RN must maintain knowledge of regulatory standards, report safety issues, and apply evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes.
Qualificationsinclude an ASN or Nursing Diploma (BSN or completion within 5 years), 3-5 years of critical care experience, and 2-3 years of endoscopy experience.
Certifications required are BLS and ACLS, along with an active RN license.
Preferred qualifications include national certifications such as CPAN, CAPA, or CGRN, as well as critical care and pre/post anesthesia experience.
Key dutiesinvolve patient care management, delegation, safety reporting, and team collaboration.
The role requires day shifts, with rotating weekends, holidays, and on-call overnight coverage.
