Position: Quality Control Analyst (Hybrid)

Quality Control Analyst

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Analyst to support a portfolio of Energy Efficiency Programs. This role is responsible for reviewing project documentation, validating data accuracy, identifying trends and exceptions, and ensuring compliance with program requirements and quality standards.

  • Collaborate with management to identify Quality Assurance and Quality Control parameters for projects within a portfolio of Energy Efficiency Programs.
  • Run Excel-based exception reports to identify missing documentation, incomplete project records, duplicate submissions, and data that falls outside expected ranges.
  • Perform comprehensive quality control reviews on a sample of program projects.
  • Verify invoices against costs entered into program databases.
  • Validate product specifications and project information against supporting documentation.
  • Review project files to ensure required documentation and approvals are complete.
  • Report findings, trends, and observations to management.
  • Develop and present PowerPoint presentations summarizing quality control findings and recommendations.
  • Recommend and support future Quality Assurance initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain QA/QC logs, procedures, plans, and supporting documentation.
  • Ensure data accuracy, validity, and compliance with program requirements and industry best practices.
  • Analyze project trends and identify deviations from established program standards.
  • Conduct gap analyses and assist in developing training materials to address process inconsistencies.

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage a high volume of invoice, workbook, database, and documentation reviews.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to extract, analyze, and synthesize data into meaningful reports and recommendations.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and database applications.
  • Experience creating reports, presentations, and process documentation.
  • Bachelor's degree and/or a minimum of five years of related professional experience.
  • One to five years of bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, auditing, quality assurance, or related experience preferred.
