Among the key duties of the position are the following:

• Leverages advanced AI/ML to build predictive models for the environmental impacts of hydroclimate extremes, such as severe storms, droughts, and heatwaves.
• Manages Big Data analytics involving remote sensing and climate/hydrologic model outputs to develop new predictive workflows.
• Maintains the codebase on Git Hub and presents progress at weekly group meetings.

• Minimum Education:
  
  Bachelor's degree in Science, Math, Engineering, or a related scientific/technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and/or relevant research study experience.
• Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong background in AI/ML.
  • Proficiency in Python and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous work experience in the field.
