Salary Details: Minimum academic base of $110,000 for calendar year appointments. Initial support is provided with expectation that the research program will be increasingly supported by extramural funds.

Posting Summary

Center for Health Services Research (CHSR) invites applications for faculty positions within a multidisciplinary research group focused on health services, Medicaid, Medicare, behavioral health, substance use, mental health treatment, and population health. Applicants should have experience in health‑care delivery and/or policy research, a strong record of peer‑reviewed publications, and a commitment to collaborative work. Successful candidates will receive a joint appointment in the Institute for Health and at an appropriate Rutgers school.

The position is full‑time tenure‑track or research‑track with competitive start‑up funding.

Qualifications

Minimum

Education & Experience:

Doctoral degree and doctorate‑level training in health services research, health policy, public health, epidemiology, or related disciplines. Strong quantitative training, an established record of peer‑reviewed publications, and evidence of preparation to become R‑01 funded investigators or other funding appropriate to career stage. Excellent research, communication, organization, and project‑management skills are required. Leadership in a research line and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams are essential.

Preferred Qualifications: Microsoft Office products; data analytical software.

Other Requirements

Immunization: Candidates may need to provide proof of seasonal influenza vaccination if employment commences during flu season, unless an exempted medical or religious reason applies.
