Job Title
Seasonal Agricultural Worker – Adelphia (Freehold)
Position OverviewSeasonal work at the Adelphia Research Farm reporting to the Farm Manager or Field Researcher III.
Responsibilities- Maintain turfgrass research areas and other research experiments on the farm.
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of all research farm facilities, including turf research and farm equipment.
- Help prepare the research farm for field days, educational programs, or public programs held at the facility.
- Perform additional research farm duties as directed.
- High school or vocational school education or equivalent experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Work independently after training in farm operations and complete all assigned work.
- Experience with or willingness to be trained in operating tillage and/or professional mowing equipment, including fertilization and irrigation applications as requested by research project leaders.
- Work in hot, humid, and dusty conditions; lift up to 50 pounds.
- Work week schedule is typically 7:30 a.m./8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m./4:30 p.m.

Rutgers University Plant Science Research & Extension Farm, Freehold, NJ. - Must be 18 years of age or older.

Full‑time hourly position; annual salary $18.00 to $25.00 per hour. 40 hours per week. Day shift. Must work fully on‑site.
