Tumor Immunology – Tenure Track (Assistant Professor)

Salary:
Minimum $134,085 base; final base salary determined by department and school in accordance with institutional policies and practices.

Responsibilities

New faculty are expected to establish an innovative, independent, and collaborative research program addressing important, fundamental questions in tumor immunology. Responsibilities include developing investigator‑initiated research, securing peer‑reviewed funding, publishing in high‑impact journals, mentoring graduate students and postdoctoral fellows, and collaborating with faculty within the Rutgers Cancer Institute consortium. The program should encompass cancer immunotherapy, immunometabolism, CAR‑T therapy, checkpoint blockade, T cell biology, tumor antigens, tumor immune evasion, and viral and non‑viral gene transfer/editing.

Qualifications
  • Ph.D. and/or M.D. or equivalent graduate degree.
  • Record of peer‑reviewed funding and publications in tumor immunology.
  • Outstanding academic credentials.
